Dining near Fantasia Gardens

I'm looking for advice on a good, reasonably priced restaurant for a late lunch/early dinner near Disney's Fantasia Gardens Miniature Golf Course.

According to the WDW website, the golf course is located "within walking distance of Disney's BoardWalk, Disney's Yacht Club and Disney's Beach Club Resorts," as well as the Swan and Dolphin hotels.

The restaurants below seem the most inviting to me, but I've never been to any of them and would appreciate hearing from those of you who have. My party will include two kids, ages 3 and 8.

Big River Grille & Brewing Works
Spoodles
Yachtsman Steakhouse
Only's Bar & Jail

Thanks in advance!

I ate at Big River Grille this week - it wasn't bad at all - decent food (if overly garlicky mashed potatoes), good beer, and my 4-year-old and 18-month-old enjoyed the kids meals just fine.

If you want sheer convenience to Fantasia Gardens, check the places at the Swan and Dolphin - they're by far the closest. For something casual, you may want to consider Gulliver's Grill in the Swan - it's the closest to Fantasia Gardens. We ate there for lunch, and it was perfectly nice (nothing fancy). They have a buffet in the evening (which rotates between American, Italian, and Seafood, so call to check), which we did not try. Only possible negative in the Swan or Dolphin is that they're not run by Disney, they're run by Westin/Sheraton/Starwood (and you can't charge back to your other Disney resort hotel room).

Finally, if you want ice cream, there's a nice soda fountain place on the ground floor of the Dolphin (they have burgers and stuff too, but I'd say it's more of a stop-for-dessert place).

How about beaches and cream at Beach Club? Late afternoon is sort of an off time for eating, so you shouldn't have to wait too long for a table. Good burgers and such...I think it would be perfect for the kids.

My favorite is the Yachtsman Steakhouse followed by the Cape May Cafe Clambake for dinner. Spoodles and Big river Grille are also very good. The only restaurant that I haven't tried on your list is Juan and only's.

Keep in mind that any restaurant that you pick will have a children's menu, so I would suggest going by your personal food preferance.

Well, that makes it a little easier to choose! :) Only's was listed on the WDW website; I guess I'll have to get my Mexican fix at the Mexico pavillion in Epcot and at Midway Airport, where there's a Lalo's.

Thanks, everyone, for your replies. I'm still undecided for now. We've already got a reservation for Le Cellier, so my desire for seared cow meat should be satisfied. But, then again, I might need that protein high on more than one day.

Then again, Spoodles might be the way to go just to carb up for the next day's touring. Then again, the kids just don't get to hang out that often at brewpubs, so Big River might be the way to go. And does it count as being drunk if you're at Disney World? :)

Thanks! There's an ESPN just a few blocks from my office (next door to the abandoned DisneyQuest). The food is pretty decent and the prices are reasonable, especially the steak sandwich. I can just imagine my boys spending our entire wad on video games the first day! :)

The seat yourself area at the bar is smoking. The non-smoking section is the area where you have to be seated and the area that has the giant screen tv.

I was just letting people know that haven't ever been there.

Anyway, some people are allergic to smoke. Some people just can't stand to be around it, like me. I really can't stand being near smoking unless I can't help it, especially when I am eating.
