Dining glitch?

Hi, I have a trip planned for the middle of May and having trouble getting dining reservations. We went last summer when capacity was lower, etc. Is this a glitch or is this the way it is for dining now? I'm not complaining. I just wanted to know if we should keep trying. We were able to get any time we wanted for Via Napoli but AK Rainforest was booked solid. That didn't exactly make sense but I just don't know these things lol.

It is more difficult to get reservations now as capacity has increased and they have not opened a ton more restaurants.
