I didn't do enough research last time on Universal and I think that is part of the reason we didn't have that great of a time outside the WWOFHP.

Last time I went I got a Quick Service Meal Plan for 1 day with Freestyle cup. It wasn't worth it because I didn't plan right.

I do plan on getting the quick service plan again for our next trip. It won't save us money, it will be about what we normally would spend. However, prepaying for it now will help us budget later.

I was wondering what the best beverage and snack credits you can use are. According to those who have been often. There is all kinds of information on the Internet for Disney in regards to this question but not Universal.

Thanks in advance for your response!

All you could want to know about UO dining plans

If you want to learn about UO then spend a few days reading their site. There is no better information about everything UO available.

I'll make it real easy-
The best use of snack is butter beer $6.99 and the best meal is at 3 broomsticks for the chicken/rib combo. I think that's $16.99. You'll still get a drink too- which works for a few HP drinks like the great tea with boba balls- I think that's $5.99. So that's $30 which puts you ahead of the $22 you spend For the plan. You can always do just the kids meal one too which is $14- so after a green tea and butter beer you can get a kids fish and chips at leaky cauldron for a buck.

Better than all of that? Be an AP member and go in September and take advantage of the buy one get one 50% off. I drink so much butterbeer in September it's ridiculous. ;)
Thanks for the help. But I don't like Butterbeer. Tried it on our last trip and it was too sweet for me.
