I did this a few years ago... Lunch was in Brown Derby... The food was OK, I wouldn't brag about the food like other people do... You are brought into a separate dining room, and sit at a long table with other guests... The Imagineer who attended my lunch was Adam Caruthers, an Imagineer in Art Design, I think...

We were allowed to ask any questions we wanted, and he answered anything he could... Obviously, we wasn't allowed to talk about unannounced projects... He described what his job was and how the creative process works...

Not sure if he is even with Imagineering anymore...

I went last Oct (2011). It was also at the Brown Derby, which I sort of like, but don't often go. The meal, which is from a limited menu, with multiple courses, was extremely good. Certainly better than my other visits to the BD. It was also a lot of food - which put a damper on our dinner plans that day. I forget the name of the Imagineer, but he was fresh off of the Hawaii resort project, involved in the external show. He was good but was not a self starter (we were joking that he choose the short straw that morning) so at times there were some lulls in the conversation. Since you are at a table with 12 or so people, the quality of the questions can run from great to inane. I had a pretty good table, with only one person that kept asking about stuff they read online, and which they can't answer unless it exists or is officially announced - and even then, the Imagineer doesn't know everything - just what they are involved with, more or less. I sort of came prepared with a bunch of things to ask. At the conclusion of the meal we received a copy of the menu, a group picture taken at the table, and a glass plate autographed by the Imagineer, as well as a name badge. Be prepared to carry that stuff around or ditch it in a locker- and the plates are heavy to carry around all day. Overall, it was worth the money and was a good experience - and something I will book again on a return trip. Jay
