DIFFERENCES BETWEEN WEBSITE AND MDE APP?

For the past few weeks I have been stalking the MDE app on my phone waiting for the Skipper's Canteen to open ADRs. I check when I get up (5 am), during my break (11 am), on my way home (3 pm) hoping.... Yesterday, I was stuck in traffic so I tried again...sure enough, it is listed and there are no slots open for ADRs. Not a happy guy between the traffic and not getting the one ADR I really, really wanted for my February trip.

So, this morning I had to complete my last fast passes and needed to fill in two slots for ADRS so I logged onto the My Disney Experience website. But as I searched, I noticed Skipper's Canteen is not listed among the restaurants - usually there is a space at the bottom which lists all of the restaurants with no availability. But no notice....

Anyone ever experience this before? Do you think that there is a chance to possibly score a Skipper's?

Skipper Canteen is walk up only; they are not accepting ADRs yet and the cast has no idea when or if they will.

We are dining here at this moment!:

It's the one thing I want to experience on my next trip.... hence why I keep checking the app...when it showed up last night I had 'pepper words' as my elementary principal said.... Still hoping somehow to score an ADR

There are no ADRs to "score". There may never be. Time will tell if it stays as a walk-up, or Disney decides to add ADRs. I would expect no changes until sometime in January at the earliest.

True - but it is showing up on the MDE app, which led me to believe they were/are.

I was just at Skipper Canteen on Friday. While they don't have ADRs currently (and as some said above, they may never have them), I doubt you'll have any issue getting a table as a walk up in February. The main dining area is fairly large and had a ton of empty tables, and the park was far busier than it tends to be when I travel in February. I also think that the menu is going to put off less adventurous diners, which will help in your favor (their loss, as the food was great!). I wouldn't worry too much about it.

It does show up on the website. You can type in Skipper Canteen and it shows up. Prior to today, if you tried to find a time, it would just say something about other options and not offer any times. Today it actually came up saying to call the dining number to schedule an ADR. I had to call to give them my flight info for DME, and so I asked to speak to a dining CM. She got excited when I told her it said to call, but still no ADRs available. She says she keeps checking daily also, so there is a chance they will eventually offer them.

Not sure why you would think that as ALL restaurants show up in the MDE app, even quick service. o_O

I didn't explain it well.... I was looking for ADRs for dinner. All that shows up after that is table serves. Skipper's showed up when I looked the other night for the first time. That's what I was referring to on the app - but if I did the same search on the website and Skipper's was not listed.....

Menu is the same for lunch and dinner. And walk ups at all times of day have been seated in 15 minutes or less; this is crazy busy holiday week!
