Difference in service at Dolphin and Swan?

Hi everyone! I have stayed at most of the Disney deluxe resorts, and was thinking of trying out some other Disney resorts. I am considering the Swan or Dolphin, but I know they are operated by outside companies and was just wondering whether I'd notice a significant difference in service or theming at these resorts. Do you feel like you're not at a Disney resort when you stay there, or is there basically no difference?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

We stayed at the Swan last March and found the service to good. You can't beat the location and the room rates are even better. We will be there again for 2 nights in November before we switch over to BCV's. It will be Thanksgiving weekend, they should be very crowded then, so I'll let you know how it is then.
