DHS Evening EMH

There's honestly not enough open right now for an evening DHS EMH. When they had it, it was like a ghost town. Very few people were using it. It was great for those of us who were who just wanted to ride TofT six times in a row, but I can see why they decided to suspend it. Maybe as others have said once Toy Story Land opens they'll bring it back. I can definitely see it coming back after SWE and Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Minetrain open.

Yeah they are actually doing 3 DVC only events after Toy Story Land opens. 2 are in September and one is in October. Our May trip last year ended one day before the Pandora opening and our May trip this year starts one day after the DVC event at AK and our Oct trip this year starts 3 days after the DHS event. (bangs head constantly against wall) I figure if they're doing events like this though it's just a matter of time before they restart EMH over there.

Side note: It always seems that crowd calendars recommend avoiding a park on an EMH day. They must be assuming you don't have access to EMH right? Because if you did, EMH days seem like they'd be beneficial.

They recommend against it because the EMH tends to funnel more people to that park during the day. Ideally, one has a hopper and can go during the EMH but be at another park the rest of the day.

Right now, every day of the week has EMH. For the first week of February, Sat 3rd - Fri 8th:

MK: 2 morning, 1 evening
EP: 1 morning, 1 evening
HS: 1 morning
AK: 1 morning

Morning EMH are 1 hour, evening EMH are 2 hours.

Now I'm curious to see if average wait times spike for EMH days. It's an interesting decision, do the EMH hours off set a general rise later in the day. I'm guessing no since the crowd calendars always recommend against it.

Yeah, I don't know...the parks seem pretty empty nowadays. Why decrease the multi-billion dollar profit by a few dimes when all four parks feel like low season permanently?
