Destination: Endor for DAK

A sci-fi area of DAK built up around the forest moon of Endor from Star Wars.
Ewok characters. Lots of them. Chewbacca, R2D2 etc.
Man made towering trees with walkways elevated, shops inside and around the trees made to resemble giant Redwoods and Sequoias, very tall and wide.
A fast moving speeder type of ride through the trees dodging and twisting, sound effects, simulated blaster shots. Could be laid out like a rethemed Test Track.
An Ewok storytelling show, big on special effects with C3PO as host.
A large stunt or action show of the final battle of Endor. Included is full sized operating walkers, expensive but feasable.
Animatronics of other world concepts of animals and flora.
A flying ride or a gondala themed ride around the Ewok parasailers.

Very interesting, but I do not see this fitting in DAK at all. Other than Ewoks you have no animals or conservation references. This should be a Star Wars area expansion at MGM.

Actually I think it would have a stellar proportion of possible animals, animatronic of course. Does it be an absolute requirement to have live animals? This is the land of imagination, a themed land of Ewoks which to children are warm and cuddly, teddy bears essentially.
This is a land of speculation of how other worlds have animals adapted to certain or harsh conditions, its even possible to have within Endor animals from Australia which are unique in so many ways.
There could be exhibits of terraforming a new world or a main consensus of saving our trees like the Brazilian rainforests, myself I would have a lot of emphasis in that area to bring in more Latin/South America tourists.

Or the whole land IS a rainforest, Endor is a sub-land of it.

Well, based on the description of your attractions it seemed more suited to MGM.

However, I could see a really cool Walk Thru with all Animatronic Animals. The land does loan itself to cool possibilites.

I've always thought Star Wars was way underused. Heck you could have a whole park with themes and Ideas. You could have Hoth, Dagabah, Tantooine, Endor, Naboo, and so many more ideas and Creatures. Man, a park would be an awesome idea for Star Wars, maybe you should imagineer an entire new park.

Perhaps the whole concept of a Trademarked Universe is what makes me want to shy away from DAK with this idea though.

If, and thats a BIG if, there was a possibilty to construct a huge dome along the size of the Superdome as a massive greenhouse for a new land dedicated to preserving endangered species, trees, and plantlife that requires a more moderate temperature could be a vision of the future.

I like the idea of Endor cause it has potential, not solely as a Star Wars addition but for an area to display a huge Redwood Forest, hundreds of "trees", many well over 100', some or a few as high as 300'.
There is only a few places along the California coast that have the majestic and long lived wonders, having a representation of this at DAK would alone even without additional theming would be an attraction, imagine pathways through a shaded forest, even through the trees showing all the rings of over 2 thosand years.

From an engineers viewpoint these can be constructed from hollow pipes used in many applications of highway or bridge building, just add an exterior of simulated bark, branches and leaves/needles.

Building also like a circle with a village in the middle creates a wall similar to a berm, misters can be up high to create a cool climate especially good during the summer months, an excellant picnic area, possible to have a swimming area?
