We stopped at the Liberty Inn for supper on night at EPCOT. We were eating rather later than normal for us and after a long, exciting but tiring day everyone in our group was getting a little worn out and restless. On top of that....there were some delays in the ordering of the food as the young man on the cash register seemed to be having many difficulties and needed to keep calling for help (I think he was in training and he was certainly polite and helpful....just very slow) By the time we got to the counter to pick up our food, I think we were a little more irritated than was reasonable. Derek.....a CM "earning his ears" and working behind the counter turned that whole experience around for us. He was very polite, very animated and while we waited for the food to be ready he entertained us with fun facts about the amount of hamburgers and hot dogs and pop etc. that get sold at walt disney world annually. He was clearly very excited to be there and by the time we sat down to eat our spirits had been refreshed and we settled down for a very pleasant meal before continuing our EPCOT adventure. THANKS Derek!
