Delivery to rooms at AKL

I saw the special on the travel channel about the AKL today. I was wondering if anyone new if I could order a special fruit basket from somewhere around there, to be delivered to our room. My daughter loves fruit and when she saw the basket in the concierge room, she kept saying how she wished we could get one of those. I would like to be able to order something similar to the one I saw if it's possible. Any suggestion? Thanks

Ok... I will answer this not as a former cast member, but as a former concierge supervisor.
I am sure you can do that. Order it from wherever you want or from the hotel. Those kind of amenities are very common in hotels like that. It will be pricey, for sure... but it will be safer if you ask the hotel to do it, than if you order it somewhere else.

If you order it from an outside source, make sure you give them the right name, and arrival date and time, and most importantly, let the hotel reservations know that you are expecting something, so they let front desk know and/or write it down in your reservation so everyone in the hotel is aware and it doesn´t get misplaced.
