After a long, hot day walking in Florida heat, I wouldn't be averse to cooling off my feet. I personally wouldn't, but I understand someone doing so. *Shrug*

"Cleansing" is a bit of a stretch, unless there's a bar of soap somewhere in this picture that I'm not seeing. ;)

Well I stayed in this cheap motel in Kissimmee last trip and from the shower only came occasional squirts of brown-ish water and so because we are classy we decided it is better to wash in those fountains they have rather than using the pool hopping to wash as I saw some of those trailer people do and now people still complain sheesh.

Yea, that is just cooling ones feet, I'd say the cleansing is a bit of a stretch and unless one is planing to drink any of it in the near future, I can't think of a single reason to care.

Question though, if that is something that should bother anyone... how can using a swimming pool not be a vomit inducing experience. That encompasses so much more then just feet.
If anyone is about to throw in the chlorinated aspect... the fountains are treated as well.

Full disclosure: In 2007 my wife and kids did this in the American Pavilion fountain, but were told by a CM not to do that. Kids feet were so hot
and sore that I didn't even think about. Once the CM said not to it clicked in my brain, Oh yeah that makes sense.

Stupid tourists! :D

I have never done it but I do understand why someone would and have no problem with it at all. Can't even think of a single reason why it would matter at all. Oh, well... different strokes for different folks I guess.

You can actually do that and it has a built in perk. You no longer have to pay out for pedicures or shoes for that matter. :in pain::jawdrop:
I hear it's an upcharge event now and you have to purchase these ,

While i wouldnt do it ( that fountain water is probably a real biology experiment) I can't think why I would care if someone else wants to cool off their feet. It's still more sanitary than what I saw at the Cinderella fountain behind the castle. A mother changing her 6 month old's diaper ( just guessing it's age), and doing a dip and rinse of the baby's bottom half. Now, THAT'S disgusting.
