Decorating the windows in resort

If I bring a string of lights to plug in will Disney unplug it or get upset if I leave it plugged in? I am going to decorate our resort windows for Halloween again and I want to hang (with suction cups to the glass) a string of purple LED lights.

When we go for Christmas we do unplug when we are not actually in the room during the day. No need to waste energy or life of the lights. When we are out at night we leave them on as we usually are not out that long.

They are low watt LED's. I am just concerned that someone with Disney will see them on and go in and unplug them but we plan on declining Mousekeeping anyway so maybe no one will bother.

I am thinking about something like this, with a few more window cling bats, and maybe a window cling haunted house right next to the inflatable Mickey.

Shouldnt be an issue. Ive seen many windows decorated by guests, using lights that flash or are just solid colored. When we take trips DW has things she needs for her medical issues that we plug in when we are out of the room and no one ever has unplugged them. They arent things a mousekeeper would necessarily know are a medical thing. Outlets are there for guests use and unless there was something in your face dangerous they shouldnt care.

When we go at Christmas we unplug during the day, but leave them on at night. We stay at POFQ and enjoy walking around the resort and also POR to look at the window decorations. Some of them are quite impressive. To be honest I think Disney may “unofficially” encourage them.

How about battery operated ones?
Both items I have that need to plug in have a battery pack attached to them for that purpose but I've tried battery powered devices in the windows before and they're dead after about 6 hours. Both of these devices also have a USB cord as well. As long as housekeeping doesn't see them and decide to unplug them I'll be okay. I've got a power strip that has two USB plugs on it that I can plug in to the outlet above the refrigerator next to the coffee pot and since it is right next to the window it will work perfectly.

We have decorated several times for Christmas, Halloween and sometimes just because. There have been times we’ve brought an additional small suitcase with tabletop Christmas tree, multiple light strings as well as extension cords and timers.
I would recommend the timers as a nice way to enjoy the lights (for you and others for festivity after dark). They’ll always be on welcoming you back to the room!

I have quite a few digital timers (don't ask why lol) but the light string has a control box with a button that must be pushed to turn them on (8 presses to get to "solid on") so a timer would not work. Unless I fiddle with the control box to jumper the wiring to make the strings always come on when plugged in. 🤔
