December Which Park

We are going to have three days in early December at WDW. We bought tickets for the Christmas party on Thursday and will spend Saturday at Disney Springs. Which park would be best for Friday in your opinion? We have a 7 year old and a 3 year old and our goal is to ride a few things but enjoy the Christmas activities and decor (while meeting a few Christmas characters). My first reaction was DHS but my wife thinks Epcot. Thanks in advance- we’ve never been this time of year and we want to enjoy the experience!

EPCOT -- IMO the best park for the holidays. The food kiosks (holiday festival), entertainers (Don't miss Father Christmas in the UK pavilion), Candlelight Processional, all countries all decked out in Christmas garb.........

Holidays Around the World at Epcot is so much fun!
However, Hollywood Studios is gorgeous at Christmas, and they have a few nightly Christmas shows there.
Tough choice between those two, I’d go for the one with the rides you like more.

I'm not a super-sentimentalist of the things that have gone away at WDW, but this made me think of the Osborne lights.

I'll say they did a nice job with the billboards, the strings of lights, decorations and the shows.... but nothing they did or do can make up for the loss of the Osborne light & music show. That spectacular thrill of walking through the streets of America to the synchronized sights and sounds can never be matched. For that reason I'll never enjoy DHS at Christmas as much as I used to.
For the OP... like 21stamps said, both parks are enjoyable and offer much for Christmas. The deciding factor would be which offers the most interesting things for your kids to enjoy besides the decorations.

Agreed. But then again the Osborne Lights were never a hard ticket. Mickey doesn't like competition for his hard ticket events. At least no competition from something that was an equal draw to his own party and only required regular admission. He can live with EPCOT (cause WS is mainly for adults..../hiccup).

I would say Epcot, many of the different countries have special Christmas storytellers that your kids might like. The Norway show with Sigrid and Julenissen is very fun, as well as Father Christmas at the UK pavilion.
