December in Disneyland…HELP!

I know this is a bit of an unknown because of the way things are changing so quickly but I thought I would see what people might have to offer. I am from Canada and due to restrictions we have in place for unvaccinated children travelling with vaccinated parents there is a requirement for them to not be able to attend school for two weeks upon return. Since that is a no-go because we have a huge trip to WDW in May for 2 weeks we are thinking to move the trip to Dec 15-20. The reason for this is that school is out upon return so the quarantine is not a problem. I know it will be busy but will it be so crazy we can’t take the six year old on anything without super long lines. This is a Wed-Mon. I was thinking moderate crowds for the Thu-Fri and busier for the Sat-Sun. Is it doable without having to wait an hour for kids rides? Would we be able to get dining reservations at all? Thoughts from anyone are much appreciated.

That week is not typically high crowds…fyi

the crowds are more likely 12/19-1/2
Xmas being on a Saturday makes the defined weeks a little weird this year - however

The 15th and 16th and probably 17th shouldn’t be any more crowded than an average day. It’ll get a bit worse later on in your trip but I wouldn’t worry.
