CityWalk was once again hosting a separate ticket New Year's Eve party. The B-52s and Foreigner were performing at it.

Crowds aren't too bad so far... let's see how they are in the parks.

- Neutron - 45 min.
- Twister - 15 min.

Not bad at all for NYE. The days before were actually worse.

A group was singing Christmas songs by the park.

At 4pm, the University of Florida Marching Band performed outside Twister.

A Starbucks location has opened across the street from Louie's.

Production trucks were out in CityWalk... I'm guessing they did some filming for NBC's NYE special?

Things were pretty sane at IOA too... wait times:

- Hulk - 35 min.
- Spidey - 55 min.
- JPRA - 10 min.
- Dragons - 30 min.
- Cat in the Hat - 20 min.

And thankfully I got out just in time, because once I entered the parking garage it started to pour. :lol:

Thanks for the update, it poured down during the afternoon but luckily by evening the weather was much better, I was actually flicking between Epcot and MK on NYE and had no problem going between the two as many people had gone home because of the weather.

Universal 360 was starting at midnight for USF, IOA was just having fireworks I believe. Not sure about any other events going on in the parks.

Yes, they had a countdown with a firework going off at 10-9-8.... then at 3-2-1 it was like a mini grand finale. Then after that the regular 360 show began with a little larger than normal grand finale.

They also had characters out in the parks, stilt walkers, gave out NYE hats and horns for free, and had a band perform on the stage by Mel's a few times. Waits were minimal and it was a nice evening.
