December 2018 Park Hours

Hello!

So, my family, a group of EIGHT(!) people, will be venturing back to the world in December. Actually, Christmas week. Yes. I know. Given the insanity we are expecting, I’m trying to make sure we are on top of all of our planning.
Park hours right now seem to be posted about 180 days out. I’m a little worried about making ADRs for such a large group at such a busy time without having an idea of park hours.
Our general plan will be to hit parks at opening, stay through lunch (maybe have an ADR in the park or nearby), head back to the hotel (BWV) and nap the youngest while the bigger kid plays in the community room or swims if it’s warm enough or watches a movie. Our evening plans will depend on what we feel like. Maybe walk to DHS or Epcot, or just bum around the resorts.
So the question is, does anyone have a good guess at when park hours will be released for late December? Morning EMH would be great.

Thanks Dave. That’s what I’m figuring. I just wish it was sooner. Our ADR date is June 24, so it would be nice to have a general idea about park hours before then.

Christmas week, as in leading up to Christmas or the week between Christmas and New Year?

Expect am EMH to be published, and then extended to 7am every day at MK. And 8am at the other parks. But those hours will likely only be extended a few weeks beforehand.

The week leading up to Christmas will have the MVMCP days too, which will mess with evening hours for ADRs.

Thanks! We’ll be there the 21st through the 29th. I assumed hours would get extended closer to, but having verification helps. We’ve got two small kids, so early mornings should be doable. We’ll likely do lunch ADRs and eat breakfast in the room/on the fly and get a QS dinner.
