I am looking at booking a trip in December and hope to get a room discount or free dining. I know there are sometimes blackout dates for the special offers. If my arrival date falls outside the blackout date, but the rest of my trip does fall in blackout dates, would I still qualify for the discount for my full stay?
Any other information on getting the best rate would be appreciated. This is my first time planning a full Disney trip. We are looking at dates between December 5 and December 13, though we aren't sure how many days. That will depend on if we can get a discount.
To qualify for free dining for your entire stay, your arrival date must be included in the offer. Even if your arrival date is the last day of the offer, you still get free dining for the length of your vacation. But if free dining starts the day after you arrive, or some other day during your stay, you would have to book two separate reservations if you wanted free dining for the remainder of your vacation days.
Room discounts are only valid on the specific dates offered. So if you check in with a room discount offer that expires two days after check in, you will pay the regular price for the remaining days. And if a room discount begins later in your stay, you can ask for the discount to be applied to those days. (You must ask, you won't automatically receive the discount.) This is what we had to do for our upcoming vacation during Easter.
I recommend you contact @Kingdom Konsultant for assistance in planning your vacation. It is no cost to you, and they will help with choosing the best dates to take advantage of any promotions, and will apply any discounts that should arise after you've booked.
