hey everyone, im going down on december 26, 2002 for new years and all that jazz... um we got back last month from disney and we were talking last night about the cool One Mans Dream attraction.. the thing we were wondering is... will it still be there in the end of December?! I mean.. wont the 100 YOM celebration be over then? It would be cook if it stayed there.. but it always seems to me that they change the thing all the time... any info would be greatly appreciated...

What they usually do is run the celebrations until the end of the year. I remember the 25 Years celebration started mid-year and ran until the end of the following year I think.

I'm pretty sure they keep it till mid to end of January of 2003. They did with the 2000 celebration anyway.

depending on how popular it is, it may be permanent. I hope they keep that, the Magical Moments pins, and the signs throughout the parks that flash at night!

The celebration will probably run till the first week of January... and then depending on what the Exec's think... they may or may not extend it till the end of the month. Either way, there are some things that will be here to stay... The Sorcerer's hat, the parades, and shows... those will all be here for awhile. As for One Man's Dream... I hope it stays here, but because of all the artifacts that it has, Im not sure if they have to be returned to thier owners. We shall see!

Yeah celebrations go for 15 months so in December 100 YOM will still be going

I read an article from the Orlando paper that due to 9/11 and the crowds being smaller, Disney is considereing extending the celebration into the first three months of January 2003. The link to the article was from a post on the forum, but I can not remember which one. Sorry

I hope they extend it 3 months! I'll get to be there for the tail end of it next march! I don't know about you guys...but this has been my favorite celebration between the 25th Anniversary, the Millennium, and this one....

I'm glad to hear it will be there in December! I thought it only ran till this October, my fam and me are going for New Years
