I was down at Universal on Thursday Night (Dec. 9th) and Friday (Dec. 10th).
CityWalk was croweded Thursday night. I had dinner at the Hard Rock, sat at the bar. It wasn't slammed but busy.
Portifino was busy and all holiday decorations are up.
The parks were busier than I thought they would be on Friday. Lines were not too long. Mummy had around a 25-30 minute wait, Spidey was around 15, Hulk 20, DD 15, MIB 10, Shrek didn't have a line!
The lines were light but there was a lot of foot traffic. The holiday stuff started on Friday. The wait to see the Grinch was about 45 minutes all day.
The Macy's Holiday Parade was a lot of fun! I was one of the balloon handlers. They're using more than 100 people (guests) to help with the balloons in the parade. I reccomend this! To do this, be around the Mummy around 2 PM. Look for the dressed out characters... talk to them enough and they might invite you to be in the parade!
