Ok, i havent been here in a week cuz ive been at WDW, so i dont know if this COP info has been discussed, but here goes my trip report, that contains TWO important COP infos, happening at seperate times.....
Sunday, Dec. 30: Arrive at Boardwalk. As my mom is checking in, i head to the brochure stand to grab the NEW 100 year borchures that dont have times listed any more. Im surprised to see NO MK brochures (???)....so i head back to where my mom is checking in, and we have this REAL FRIENDLY CM named Steve. After checking us in, he says "if u guys are big Walt Disney fans, you better head over to MK tomorrow".....i say "i know, 100 yeard of magic..." he replies "no, not that....its because tomorrow is the LAST day COP will operate....EVER, thats why all our MK brochures are out.....everyone took em as suveneirs, and we are printing the new ones that are generic and dont have times, and dont mention Timekeeper or COP, since they will be permanately closed" After this we went to the room, and later ate at SPoodles, but i was getting kinda sad knowin COP would close the next day, and i wouldnt be able to get to MK
Monday, Dec 31-New YEars Eve: After a day at Downtown Disney (where i picked up this awesome die cast model of the Rock-N-Rollercoaster train), we eat dinner at Boma's in Animal Kingdom lodge. The food was great and so was the resort. WE returned, and watched Dick Clark, as we also watched Illuminations from our Balcony (our room had a PERFECT view of Epcot)
Tuesday, Jan 1: We rang in the New Year at MGM. My first time in Rock-N-Rollercoaster, and it was GREAT. Tower of Terror is more insnane than ever, while One Mans Dream and Millionaire were excellent. Longest line was 45 min for RNRC, and i was dissapointed to see only 10 min lines in the Great Movie ride for most of the day. Got to Fantasmic 2 hours early, and was one of the first to sit down (next time ill get their like 45 min early....2 hours was WAY to boring), and the show was fantastic. At night, we checked into the Wilderness Lodge, walked around for a while, and fell asleep
Wednesday, Jan 2: Low and behold, the new permanent, no-parade-and-show-time, brochure for MK is in....i pocket it, and dont even look at it until 2 hours later....When i finally open it, im EXTREMELY SURPRISED to find that not only are Timekeeper and COP still listed on the map, but also it doesnt say "OPEN SEASONALLY" or list "Limited hours"......
Thursday. Today, came home, reading the Dinsey Imagineering book, which for $30, is a GREAT book to pick up
MY QUESTION to CM's.....is COP and Timekeeper CLOSED for GOOD, or OPENED for Good??????????? REPLY!!!!!!
