So it looks like Hidden Springs Pool is gone. That was my favorite spot at all of WDW. Very quiet and tranquil on Monday mornings when everyone else was heading to the parks. We have been there and had the place all to ourselves. Who knew the good old days were yesterday?

It is a spot that holds some very special and personal memories. Now it's gone. Not sure what is melodramatic about that but thanks for your reply. Yes, there is going to be a bigger pool there and I am sure it will be nice. Sometimes bigger and newer is not always better, at least for me. Your mileage may vary.

Wow. My favorite spot gone. I hope the new pool is spectacular. The quiet retreat that was Hidden Springs pool was a special place. Oh well, we have lots of pics and memories.

I agree with you completely! Loved that pool setting, even when I came about a big ugly snake slithering along under the little wooden bridge next to it. I'll be there tomorrow and see if I can get a few more pics. I can only hope the demolition is only so vast as to make it easy to construct the new structures and pool, and once done new trees and landscaping will be inserted and the tranquil environment returns.
