debating split stay (blt/vwl)

so my wife and i are heading back sept 20-25 for our 1 year anniversary with 2 other couples. staying at blt in the 2 bedroom villa. we're kinda debating doing 3 nights there and the last 2 in the same villa at wilderness lodge, but i'm not quite sold.

i know blt is great, but we've never stayed at or even visited vwl. what makes me apprehensive is the idea that we'd be either disappointed or just not as into it for the last part of the trip. or that maybe we'd never really settle into blt, knowing that the clock was ticking til we had to pack up and change hotels.

i know... first world problems.

positives/negatives of switching?

Positive getting a different experience! YEA! Negative packing and worrying about the move! It's all in how you look at it!

I think a 5 night stay is borderline for doing a split stay. Anything less probably wouldn't be worth it. We've done it a couple of times and it wasn't difficult, but we were staying 7+ nights. We love WL, but it won't be as luxurious as BLT. Personally, I'd stick with BLT and do WL another trip.

It's always a good day when Spurs choke away a match.

But when you are an Arsenal fan... that good feeling is followed up by the news that your best player has re-injured the ankle that kept him out for what amounted to 18 months. Spectacular.

I think 5 nights is too short for a switch. We did a split between the Poly and Beach Club this past July. We split it up for two reasons: length of stay and cost, but also experience.

We stayed at the Poly for our first two nights and it was amazing, the switch was ok but not seamless. I needed to call several times to track down my bags. We dropped our bags down at 730AM and went off to MK, we were told they would be at the BC mid-day. We ended up getting rained on and when we came back to the BC at around 2PM they couldn't find our bags. They weren't sure if they were still at the Poly, on route, or at the BC. It was a little annoying but not the end of the world.
