Hi All, I just wanted to verify that I can't get in trouble or lose adult CS credits if I choose meals from the adult menus at CS eateries if I have Kids CS credits? TIA

No QS/CS credits are not separated between adult and child they are interchangable. Only for TS adult and child comes into play. You will be fine. :)

Thank you, thank you, thank you!! :)
Your very welcome! Yep all the registers see is that you have however many QS credits to use not you have this many adult or child credits for QS etc. I'm guessing the pricing is so close for child and adult meals at QS that they have never wanted to enforce that issue like they do at TS. :)

Can I ask one more question? :) If we are at a CS location and I decide to skip beverage and dessert that is included with DDP, may I sub a side or is it restrictive? Thank you again!

Thanks anyway! I'm trying so hard to budget for this first trip as a family with our babies and I think I will just have to wait and see for some things :)

No problem. I have heard some let you substitute the desert for a snack but nothing definate as I have never tried it myself yet. Me and the hubby enjoy the deserts too much while in WDW. Haha! :)

Check out the menus for the places you think you'll want to eat and see if the DDP even works out. Quite often it's cheaper to pay out of pocket

Yes, thank you. We have opted to sometimes skip the DDP but in this case I think it will benefit us because of the deal with Value Resort/QS promo (which we upgraded to regular dining) and my, albeit small, travel agent commission. LOL

It totally depends on the location. I was able to make some substitutions at a couple of places (e.g., a cup of yogurt or an apple instead of fries or dessert, coffee instead of a fountain beverage) but not always. It can't hurt to make a friendly request!

I'm fairly certain that the dining plan this year actually states that instead of dessert you can get anything marked as a "snack" on the menu, such as another side item. I think the example I've seen most often is to get onion rings at Flame Tree instead of a dessert. I believe at a table service you can also substitute an appetizer instead of dessert. Not sure about the drinks.

The new Table Service substitution is a soup or side salad in place of the dessert, not an appetizer.
