DCP to Walt Disney Company without a PI?

Hi!
I completed my college program in January and moved back home to the NYC area with the hopes of getting a job working for Disney/ABC in the city but have not had any luck. I was just curious if anyone on here has successfully landed a job outside of the parks without having a professional internship. It's my dream to continue to work for Disney, but I've been having lots of trouble getting there.

What is your professional objective? What do you want to do for Disney/ABC?

FYI, my degree is in Communications(Radio/TV/Film) and a market like NYC is somewhere you need to work years before being able to get in to - it's rare to jump right in out of college.
