DCL Trip Report!!!

Well......Well......Well..... What can I say about the Disney Cruise Line's Wonder Ship? It was probablly the best vacation with a great set of friends I have ever taken. The cruisees were Anders, Mike, Kim and Kenan. The cruise itself exceeded my expections above and beyond whatever I can think of. I will be running a day by day (thank god it was only 4nights/5days, or else I'd be here forever) of the things and funny things that went on. Some of the things may have you rolling on the ground, and others may not, but still may just cause its me. HAHA. Well, on to the fun stuff peoples! (After writing a bit, I think Im just gonna write what I can remember... which may not be a lot.

Pulling up to the Cruise Terminal was quite a sight. The massive ship just sitting there, waiting for us 4 to get on. ( AND EAT!!!). We get into the terminal and check in, Anders and Mike got an upgrade, so they ended up with a window view. While we were waiting in line (and after much persuasion by Anders...)the supervisor had us skip everyone, and we went directly to the front of the line and through the Mickey Ear doors before they were open to anyone. We were one of the first on the ship. Once we got on, we were presented as the AndersMikeKimKenan family, LOL. We then proceeded to the buffet where the food was immensive and excellent. I had at least 2 plates of food there. While walking to one of the rooms, we made ressies to Palo's, which I will talk about later. We got to our respective rooms and unpacked. Mandatory Evacuation Drill..... maybe...LOL...Anybody know what a SONIC BOOM sounds like? After the cruise you will with the stateroom bathrooms! They are like insane in the membrane. The beginning sounds like a normal flush, but all of a sudden, its like VHOOOSH-BOOM! It sounded like a "bodily" function sound. HAHA. "When you wish upon a Star"? Frankly, those xylophones were killing me. I felt as if I was in a part of Grease gone bad, lol. "Xylophones.." Hello, this is your cruise director Julie (it wasnt Julie, it was actually Racheal, but we pretended it was Julie from the LoveBoat.) That night we went to Palos. An adult only restaurant. For all you smarty pants out there, yes, I am old enough, LOL. Palos was incredible. I had squid (I'd spell it with the "C", but I cant at the moment..), Filet Mignon, and the Chocolate Souflet. Everything I had that night was excellent. Especially the Chocolate Souflet. It was to DIE for!!! That night we also went to see the Disney Dreamers show. It was an "ok" show, but the best show was yet to come. One funny did happen during the show. When Belle came out from backstage in her yellow gown and curly hair, Anders yells out in a Southern voice "Hi Ya'll, Im Belle!". It was one of those things you had to be there to hear it, but was funny even to this day. The next morning we woke up early and went to Tritons for breakfast. I had Pancakes, Eggs, Hash Browns, Beef Hash, and Bread with Butter. Talk about eating huh? LOL. After that, we got ready to go to Atlantis at Paradise Island. OMG...this place was GORGEOUS!!! I took pictures, so Ill give yous the site when I post them up. We seen the underwater tank, and a fish that passed some gas, which in return was renamed Kenan. HAHA. We then hit the wonderful Casino. $80 went down the drain in a matter of 30 min or so. It was an experience I will not forget, and it gets addicting as well. Once we all lost some money, we took the taxi back to the boat. The driver of this taxi was insane. We renamed the taxi, The Death Taxi. The poor old man couldnt drive for his life. Kim and I then went to explore Nassau while Anders and Mike went back to the pool on the boat. After browsing through Nassau, we headed back to the boat. We rested then headed to dinner at Animators Pallete. This place was great. Earlier in the day, I went to see Finding Nemo for the first time. The movie was great, especially Dory and her whale talk. And when Darla came on the screen and the music from Psycho came on. HAHA. After dinner that night, we went to go see Cold Creek Manor. The movie was ok, but I slept through most of it, and literally froze my buns off cause the theater was MAD cold. The next day was planned around the ship cause we didnt want to get off the ship and go to Freeport. We went and chilled by the pool, and then went to see Holes. While we were in the theater to see Holes, "Julie" and her xylophones came on, and announced there was a showing of Pirates in the big mama theater. So, half the theater left that and went to the other theater to watch Pirates. Pirates the second time was great. After Pirates, we rested some more, then at 630pm, went to watch Hercules the Muse-Ical. We could not stop laughing during the whole show. If any of yous go on the ship, this is a MUST to watch!!!! After the show, Parot Cay was next in line for dinner. I had something, but at this very moment I cant remember. Oh thats right, I had 2 orders of chicken wings, a rib-eyed steak, and pecan pie. We left there, and went directly to bed, so we can enjoy Castaway Cay early in the morning. Got up in the morning, and went to Castaway Cay. Got to the secluded adult beach (not "adult" in that way), got some beach chairs, put them in the water, and relaxed for like 2 hours. There were tropical fishies swimming all around us. We then walked to the BBQ going on. Had some hamburgers and hotdogs and chicken and chocolate chip cookies, however the Iced Tea with no sugar did me no good. We got back on the ship, and went to the ever-so quiet pool. That was cause everyone was on the Island. We enjoyed the pool for a bit, then went and changed and went to see Freaky Friday. OMG was this a funny movie. It had us hysterically laughing almost the whole time. We then went to see the new show, "The Golden Mickey's". We walked down the red carpet and had the paparazzi take pictures of us. Rona Rivers was interviewing people and then were showing it "live" on the big screen in the theater. It was a very good show, but nothing will beat Hercules. After the show, we went to final jackpot Bingo. Before it started this lady comes up to us since we had 2 extra chairs at the table, and asks if she could take one. We said ok. Well, she didnt take it and walked away. She started to walk towards the Bingo board, and Anders goes, "No, No Girlfriend. You better move out of my way before I rip that weave right off your head." After that remark, I could not stop laughing for at least 5 minutes. Needless to say, we aint win nothing in Bingo, which stunk like a skunk. Our last night, we ate at Tritons again on the Master Chef menu. Great food yet again. (Have I complimented the food enough?). It kinda sucks we gotta go back to eating Subway after being spoiled this way...lol) After dinner, we gathered in the atrium lobby and took pictures of the Farewell Gathering.(Made eye contact with a certain someone, someone on the stairs...but thats another story for another time, lol....) It was sad to be leaving but I will be back very, very soon. Im already planning my next trip. All in all, the trip was fantastic...you all will probablly hear more stories, but as of the moment, this is all I can remember. I hope it summed up everything for everyone about my wonderful experience. Ill see you all real soon. Pictures will be up on a website, once I give them in and then get them back. But I'll let yous know when that will be.
See yous real soon!
