Looks like Disney Cruise Line is looking into a third ship with a possible Pacific itinerary. They would like to marry Disneyland Resort and Disney Cruise Line on this side of the US but haven't been able to work out a GOOD itinerary for 3 or 4 night cruises. There are no islands up for sale off the coast of California that I know of like the Bahamas, Catalina???????? In our Disney Dreams. Ensenada is gross. I would like to see 7night itineraries with Puerto Vallarta on it. What do you all think??????

Who will be running it? Disneyland or Walt Disney World management? I don't think it would be too much of a good idea since some ideas work where ever but others don't like the Disney Cruise Line.

Will it work?

Disney Cruise Line would manage there own ship. But I do agree with your opinion that some things work in one area and not in another. In the Caribbean there are alot of places to go on a 3 or 4 night cruise where on the Pacific Coast there are not many choices. Somehow I just can't picture Disney Cruise Line doing Alaska, but hey I could be wrong. As much as I would love a Disney ship on the West Coast I don't know how they would work a short cruise itinerary. I have sailed on their ship "Magic" on a 7 day cruise and totally loved it. That would work on the West Coast doing the Mexican Rivera. The crew, the ship and the entertainment was totally fabulous the best cruise I have ever been on.

They might not want to do it because they don't want the huge business that the Walt Disney World one has had and go to the Disneyland which would prboly not be the problem but hey, always look ahead at the possibilities.

It might be a good idea it would make people length there stay there. It would make the Disney Cruise Line more popular because you have more location and trips you can take they could make a time share thing too maybe. Do people over in Japan and China take Cruises? I heard they might put a cruise line in Japan?

Try to get answers

I will e-mail my Disney rep and see if she knows
anything more than what we read in the magazines.
But I would be real surprised if WD Cruise Line would be in Japan at this time. I think the Disney fans on the West Coast would be real upset if Japan got a ship before the original Disneyland.
