For those that don't know, on June 15th, Disney's California Adventure is hosting a women's triathlon! This will be my first triathlon and my goal is just to finish. After looking at this course, I am confident I'll be able to hack it. :)
I'll explain the course below, but if you want to check out a map, click this link and check out the "Full course" link at the bottom of the page:

The swimming portion will be in Paradise Bay (1 lap). The biking portion will start in the Timon Parking lot, along Disneyland Drive (in front of the Paradise Peir Hotel), down Ball Road towards Anaheim Blvd, turning onto Cerritos Ave and then Lewis street. There is a short section on Katella and Anaheim Way, back onto Disney Way and abck into the Timon Parking lot (Total of 10 miles). The running portion appears to go backstage a bit! We start in the tram lane at the Timon Parking lot and take the tram's route to the unloading area, however from there we enter the Hollywood Blvd area DIRECTLY (without going through the Sunshine Plaza). We run through the Hollywood Pictures Backlot, to the Sunshine Plaza, through the Bug's Land, the long way around Grizzly River Rapids (between Soarin' and the Rapids), around Paradise Peir, around the other side of Grizzly River Rapids, and ending back in the Tram loading area via a backstage door near the San Fransisco area. (Total 2.5 miles).

My mom and my cousin will be coming to cheer me on. I'm begging them to take tons of pictures, but depending on the crowds, that may or may not happen.

looks like for the swimming portion you will be backstage too, since theres a ramp under the curve bridge and Im guessing thats the best way in and out of the water. How cool though you get to swim in Paradise Bay!!! Heres hopeing everyone dosn't come out blue like a smurf ;) well actually its probably better than swiming in the ROA haha.

Good luck!!!!
