I know we've got a great World of Color thread going, but I thought this was a bit different and deserved it's own thread. Al Lutz said a few weeks ago that this exact scenario would play out a lot the first week, and it's already begun as of this morning. Here is the Editors Note from Miceage today...
"Editor's Note 6/11: The marketing-driven scheduling games we'd warned you about have begun for DCA operating hours and World of Color. As of 10AM this morning, DCA had its closing time extended to 11PM and a third World of Color show added "due to overwhelming demand". Good thing all of the DCA Cast Members had already been scheduled for that exact scenario weeks ago, huh? -Al Lutz"
So, a third show tonight! I'm about to head out to DCA to see the Blue Sky Cellar and Glow Fest, so maybe I'll stick around for the third show?
I wonder how often they will do this sort of thing before they just publicly admit that DCA is scheduled to close at 11PM? It seems that would help tourists plan their days better if they just admit that sort of thing in advance.
I know they are trying to avoid the DCA Curse, but at some point you have to just admit you've got a huge hit on your hands and a theme park people actually want to get in to enjoy.
