DCA/ Disney's America makeover ideas

I am starting a project that will involve a DCA makeover into a Disney's America. I am going to need some help along the way.
Here are the lands that will be converted into different lands:

Sunshine Plaza: USA Plaza

Hollywood Pictures Backlot: stay the same

Condor Flats: Victory Field

Golden State: Land of the Free

Bountiful Vally Farm: The bug theme will be taken out of it and will be renamed "America's Heartland".

Pacific Warf will be demolished to makeway for a bigger lake

The San Faransisco bay area: Liberty Square

Paradise Peir ( side where the tacky rides like Jumpin Jelly fish and Molholland Madness ) : American Waterfront ( like the one at TDS complete with large steamliner )

Paradise Peir ( section with the roller coaster ) : Paradise Peir ( a different version with more of an early 1900s boardwalk feel. The roller coaster will be moved, I'll explain more later )

Additional lands to be added and extend the theme park into the Timon lot:

a 50s themed land ( need a good name )

Industrial revolution

Please note that I borrowed a few ideas from a Mouse Planet article. I will post the ride ideas later this evening. Tell me what you think!

The Grizzly Peak will be changed to resemble the head of an eagle and will be the park's icon and repositioned so that you can see it from the enterance. The name of the mountain will be changed to Eagle Peak.

Well, that's it. I will go into more detail later, and I need more ride ideas especialy for 50s land, Industrial Revolution, and Land of the Free.

Ok, today I'm going to get started on USA plaza and how it will look.

USA Plaza will replace the Old Sunshine Plaza. The murals at the enterance will be changed to resemble American Icons and some of the lands inside.

The Gigantic Metalic Sun will be replaced by a Gigantic Metalic American Flag with the fountian still under it.

The train snack area will be changed to Transcontinental Icecream, and people can eat inside the train. Plus, it will be changed to resemble an 1800s locomotive train.

Patriotic Music will welcome the guests into the park. Plus, Mickey and his friend will be on hand to meet and sign autographs. They will wear different costums. Mickey will wear an Uncle Sam outfit, Donald will wear a common local costume of the early 1900s. Minnie will wear a Pilgrim outfit, Goofy and Max will wear north civil war outfits, and Pluto will wear a coyboy hat.

Engine Ears Toys will be Changed to Fifty States diner where different booths will be decorated to different states and guests can enjoy different foods that are enjoyed in dfferent states.

Greetings from California will be changed to "Welcome to America" and sells Bicentenial Themed merhcandise and Disney's America souvineers.

The Bakery will be changed to "Washington Bakery". Selling America Shaped Cookies and many other goodies.

Every morning right when the park opens, Uncle Sam's Birgade sings "Welcome to Disney's America", the "America" song from Westside story, and and Golden Dreams song from the American Adventure. They sing and dance and do a wonderful and entertaining routine with pyro effects from behind the giant metalic flag.

Then there's the Flag raising ceremony similar to the one at Disneyland.

Anyway, I forgot to mention about Flik's Fun Fair and Play House Disney live. Flick's Fun Fair will have a few changes and PlayHouse Disney live will stay the same.

Anyway, back to USA Plaza. I forgot to mention the parade that starts here. It will be called "The Star Spangled Celebration Parade". It will have many floats with many floats reperesenting the American culture including the theme of many of the different lands with Disney characters on each float. A few of the floats have some people dressed up as the founding fathers on them.

I don't think I'll need to do a description because it will mostly stay the same.

Play House Disney live: Stay the same unless Playhouse disney bombs

Magic of Disney Animation: Its great! Keep it the same.

ToT: I have no changes. It looks great.

Muppets 3-D: Even though it won't change until Disney and Henson strike a deal, I'd like to imagineer a new version. Once again, I'll need help on this.

Muppet Labs: Baisicly sort of like Curiouse George goes to town, but themed to Professir Honey Dew, and Beaker's labs with fountains and buttons.

Millionair show: It will be changed to the Great Movie Adventure, similar to the MGM one, but with different movies. I'll write a description later.

Goofy's Superstar Limo: A kiddie dark ride where goofy drives you to the premier of Mickey Mouse's newest movie. I will provide more description later.

Hyperion Theater: Well, judging by how popular the Aladdin show is, I say keep it the same.

Hollywood Backlot Stage: A new show called Mickey's big break will premeir there.

Hollywood and Dine: Keep it open!

this what i have so far for the new muppet 3-d

it will be like another road aventure picking up diffrent muppets from the rode like in the muppet movie. the audience seats will be able to tilt in any direction so that you can fell a little more immersed in the show.

anywhy back to the show. It will start out that kermet will start going on a road tripto visit all of his muppet friends that sepperated after the last movie ( a very quick road trip :lol: )he picks up fozzy bear. fozzy will say when he gets in i see small people when he looks in the back. then gonzo on a chicken farm that he started. Gonzo almosts hits use with is nosie when he swings his head in the back. then the rock group (can't remember their name) will be the next they will have a bubble machine which will make bubbles ( like the old show) the to scientist will then be picked up and and will show off there new gadgets they made ( special effects and stuff) then at the end miss piggy will chase use on her moto cycle from las vagas cause we forgot to pick her up back in las vagas( because we where to busy looking at all the lights. so miss piggy hits the back of the car when we get to the entrance of disneyland.( we need a big finally lick in the old movie they blew up the building supposeitly)

ImagineerFan, I was just joking on the "all you have to say" thing. I like your Muppet idea, but it needs to have more story like the muppet labs thing persenting muppets in 3-D. But I like your idea.

Here's the Goofy's Super Star Limo ride: The story is that Goofy has started a special limo buisness, and you've gotten invited to the premeir for one of Mickey Mouse's newest movies. Any way, you see a preshow where an AA Goofy tells you the story and blah blah blah. He explains that the newest Limo viecle he has is the open air limo. That's a limo where the audience sits is open air, but the driver cabin, where Goofy sits, is not open air. When you wait for your viecle the other people boarding is hidden from veiw because it would seem rather odd to see Goofy clones in each viecle. Anyway, you board you viecle and Goofy provides the commentary, but the ride doesn't go too well because Goofy isn't that good of a driver. This is sort of like Mr. Toad's wild ride, except its not as dark and you see many AA celebirties. The ride's climax is where Goofy drives on Moholland Road and he accidently drives up an incomplete highway ramp and you drive up to the end of it at full speed ( well, it seems like it ) and then, "AAAHHHHH HOO HOO HOOOOYYYYY" And right through the Hollywood sign. Crash! Boom! Bang! Then, it turns out, you're at Mickey's premeir!:sohappy: You see an AA Mickey, Minnie, Pluto, and Donald on the red carpet with adoring fans along side. Mickey tells you to hurry up because you're almost gonna miss the premier! You unload, and you move into a movie theater and watch a continuouse move ( there are no seats in the theater, and you don't have to watch the whole thing. You can just leave anytime ) you also see the AA Mickey and the Gang in Box seats high above, making comments during the movie.

I know, I like your idea, but it needs some tweeking. It could be like: Since I think Kermit is looking at the audience through some sort of camera to give the muppets the 3-D effects. Or somthing like that. Maybe a character decides to run away, and puts the camera in which throgh the audience is in somhow in his car.... I don't know. Its hard to explain in words. The main thing is to keep the theme of the Muppet labs where they create the 3-D effect.

Here's the Great Movie Adventure: The exterior is made to resemble a sort of a collage of all the different movies inside. You go through the qeue where you see different movie props, and movie trailors for the movies that you go through.

Here are the movies you go through, and what scenes they are:

Chicago ( I havn't seen the movie, but I suppose it would be going through one of the dance scenes )

Singin in the Rain ( Geene Kelly splashin in the streets singing scene )

Marry Poppins ( Jolly Holiday with Mary )

Pirates of the Caribean ( the sword fight scene in the cave with an AA Sparrow and Barbosa fighting as well as an Orlando AA fighting. ) Here, a pirate hijacks the tour.


Cowboy Movie scene ( same as MGM version where a cowboy hijacks the tour )

Alien scene ( same )

Indiana Jones: Raiders of the Lost arc ( same scene with hijaker getting fried by the jewel )

Casablanca: ( same )

Wizard of Oz scene ( same )

And then the tribute to the movies part.

Ok, moving right along to Victory Field:

This land resembles a runway and air port. The land has a history and spirit of the wonders of flight. Here, guests can soar over the land of America in hang gliders and blast to top speeds in "Barrier Breakers". The stores from the Original Condor Flats theme will stay the same. Here are some descriptions of the rides:

Soarin Over America: Changed from Soarin Over California, this has a new film and many improvements on it also.

The qeue and waiting area will be more detailed and will reall give you the sence of adventure. With the New film, you'll soar over many of America's Icons such as:

The Golden Gate Bridge

The Mississippi River

The Arch

The Grand Canyon

Mount Rushmore

The Rocky Mountains

The Pacific Ocean

Down Town Chicago

The Statue of Liberty

New Orleans

Washington DC

And ending in a firework finale at Disneyland.

Barrier Breakers:

This ride uses Mission: Space technology that would really give you the sensation of breaking the sound barrier.

The story is that you are taking a flight to experience breaking the sound barrier and maybe going even faster than that. You move through an airplane hanger serving as the qeue, and you see a preshow explaining about what you are about to experience and they introduce your pilot. You procede to the circular waiting area like in M:S and you board your centerfuge pod. They are four seated also, and once your strapped in, the screen moves to in front of you face. The pilot prepares for take off, and you drive onto the runway. You accelerate very fast into the sky pulling some big Gs like in M:S. You accelerate very fast through the sky, breaking the sound barrier. All of a sudden, one of the engines gets burned, and the pilot can't control the plane! He accelerates again, off corse, and into a rain storm. You fly throught the clouds, and avoid bolts of lightning. The pilot tries to call for help, but a bolt of lightning strikes the plane. Flashes of light an dloud noises flash. The plane is completely out of control! The cabin goes dark for a few moments, and you the hear the pilot say, "Brace yourselves! We're going down!" and the weightlessness sensation takes place as you hurtle down to the earth horizontaly in darkness. The screens turn on, and you see the ground comming closer and closer. The pilot is able the pull the plane up just in time, but has lost control again. Joy sticks pop up in front of you, and the pilot says that its up to you to control the plane. You twist and pull the joystick and you take a rough journey back to the airfield. You start to land the plane, and nearly collide with another plane on the runway, before safely landing.:sohappy:

Ok, to the next land: America's Heartland and a bug's land.

This small land celebrates the agriculture of Amreica and the spirit of the farmland country side. All of the bug themeing in this land will be removed and the only bugs themes will be in the adjacent bug's land. The Enterance to ITTBAB, will only be accessable from a bug's land, and not the farms.

Anyway, this land is a lot of fun. Leaky aqueduct pipes make a wet experience for the kids. Farmer Tom who is the farmer of America's heartland, interacts with the guests by telling kids stories of life on the farm, while giving parents some gardening tips. Kids can also play on a catipillar tracktor. The Farmer's Market sells fresh food, and Maggies baked goods sells delichiouse home cooked goodies. San Andres Shakes will be changed to "Heartland Crafts". A craft store that sells beutiful crafts. Many plants are grown everywhere. Daily, Farmer Tom hosts the Watermelon contest where everyone competes to eat their watermelon the fastest. A nearby petting zoo also keeps the kids entertained with Donkeys, pigs, goats, and a bunny farm. Each August, pumkins and halloween decorations are sold, and many festivities are held. There's the annuel costume contests, pumpkin carving, and hay mazes.

One ride to the land is the Home on the Range Dark ride where you travel through the classic Disney movie, "Home on the Range". ( I can't say more because I havn't even seen it yet.:lol:

a bug's land

Here's a new and improved bug's land. Personally, the thing I hate is you rideing in a character like dumbo. It really makes no since to the story. Apparently, a bug's land is full of things like that. So, there are going to be a ton of changes. The overall look of the land is going to stay the same except for a few changes. The Hollywood Pictures backlot buildings are going to be more hidden. Flick's Flyers will change to "Leaf Balloon Flyers". Francis' ladybug boogy ( an attraction where you ride in for some reason clone Francis' ) will be changed to cup twirlers where you ride in bottle caps, small drinking cups, ect. Sort of like mad tea party. Tuck and Roll's drive 'em buggies will hold a larger ugly bug ball show. The theater it used to be in at America's heartland will have somthing different. Princess Dot's Puddle Park will stay the same. Francis' chew chew train will mostly stay the same, except it will be made longer, instead of riding in francis your pulled in a train of pizza planet french fry boxes pulled by francis, francis at the front of the train will be part AA where his eyes, mouth, and arms move a bit; and you will see more things including some AA bugs. Two new attractions include: Flik's Bug Coaster where you ride in oversize Acorns on a roller coaster ride in a bug's land. The finale is a spiral around and you zoom into a chewed up apple. The other new attraction is "Spiraling Snails" where you ride in cars resembling snails ( you ride in seats in their shells ) and sort of go around in a circle that goes over hills and the snails spin also as you go around. A new Resturaunt includes "The Bugaraunt" which serves deliciouse treats, and a new shop is P.T. Flea's Flea Market.

I have a suggestion.
-add a huge pirates of the caribbean style dark ride to the American Waterfront have it involve the mysterious ship in the harbor as it is said that even though it is grand it holds a dark curse a man was killed by the machinery on the ship and now his spirit has opened up the portal to all of the ghosts of lost ships. Have it like at the beginning be very grand and then when you meet the spirtit he make the ship dark, decaying, and haunted.
