Hi everyone in celebration of DCA's 20th anniversary what did you think when the park first opened? Did you love it? Did you hate it? Share down below memories of DCA when it first opened.

For me I have no opinion because I have never been to DCA or California before

I went in 2006 for the first time. Monster's Inc had opened, the TOT was open and the park was very disappointing.

Yeah that's what I've heard from my cousins. They went back in 2007 and they were pretty bored. They were pretty young back then and they said they loved the playhouse disney live show and a bugs land. I still wish I was able to go back when it first opened it seemed so odd

I went for a preview a few days before it opened and was pretty underwhelmed. I grew to enjoy many aspects of the original park but things like Superstar Limo, Bountiful Family Farm, Jumpin Jellyfish and other off the shelf carnival like rides failed to impress. Meanwhile, Soarin', Grizzly, Redwood Creek (for the kids), Screamin'....were all highights. The food was pretty good as well.

The park is significantly better today but far from perfect.
