There was rumors WarnerDiscovery will selling WB assets and maybe DC Comics to another companies like Amazon, Netflix and Disney in the future.
Don't ya think Disney will buy DC Comics and Looney Tunes as other WB assets suchs as Hanna-Barbera, etc... or not? Will WB will keep Looney Tunes and DC Comics, as other WB assets after WarnerDiscovery were merged by 2022?

I’m not sure in what scenario Disney would ever legally be allowed to buy WarnerMedia let alone the much larger Warner/Discovery.

If Disney wants to spend some money they should cut a deal with Sony to return the Spider-Man film rights and the back catalogue. Overall Disney just needs more content for Disney+ and not more studios to manage.

Wow Warner was Iger’s first choice back in 2016:

Our reporting uncovered other intriguing details about the situation back in 2016, when AT&T first approached Time Warner about a deal.

It could have been different if a phone call had come just a few weeks earlier. In October 2016, shortly before Time Warner and AT&T announced their deal, Bob Iger, the head of Disney at the time, placed a call to Jeff Bewkes, the chief of Time Warner, according to two people intimately familiar with those details. The Disney leader asked Bewkes if he’d be interested in a possible merger. It was too late, Bewkes said. There was already something in the works. Iger wished him well and hung up the phone. Later, Iger called another media chief in the hopes of forging a deal. It was Rupert Murdoch.

DC should be separate from Marvel. They are competitors, and we benefit from that. While I agree the DC movies need a lot of help, let's keep these two houses apart. I would prefer to see Netflix or Amazon bring about a DC renaissance.

I think WarnerMedia or WarnerDiscovery changes their minds to keep WB assets such as Looney Tunes and DC Comics.
