Day trip for a local

Hey all, so now living in Orlando I have to luxury of being able to come to the parks a lot more often. Sadly because of work I don't get to go nearly as much as I would hope to.

That being said, I have a full day off with nothing to do but relax coming up. What would be your recommendations for a local that wants to have a fun day in the parks? Thanks!

Going solo or with a group? Do you have an annual pass? How often is "not as much as I hoped"? yearly, monthly, never since you have moved there?

Those are the big questions that would really give you the best advice.

If it was me, alone and WDW was within my reach where I would be back within a few months time? I'd go and not rush around. Sit on a bench, enjoy the ambiance, wander main street, find a nice meal and just go where the flow takes you. You don't need to me stuck to a schedule or stuck in go-go-go mode.
