Day or Night

No doubt about it I'm a morning person, at home and at Disney. I'm up early everyday and I NEVER miss rope drop. But I actually like Disney better at night. There's something magical about everything being all lit up. Not to mention the night time shows. So do you prefer days or nights at Disney?

I'm in complete agreement with you that there's nothing like taking a stroll around property at night. Beautiful.

I tend to be a night owl at home, but at Disney, I often wake up fairly early, amped up and ready to go. I've had some great morning strolls at the resorts headed to a bakery or two.

I am definitely a Disney night person but i try to spend most of the day in the parks. I try to get to the park at opening but its usually within 30 mins of park opening when i arrive.

I like the days better. The nights are great too but that just means another day is almost over at disney and close to the trip being over .

We do rope drop, but we have also been in the parks til closing. I find that in the past few years,
we do rope drop and by 6 or 7 pm we're ready to head out, get some dinner and rest up for the next
day.

I prefer both, if that's allowed. But I do love the parks at night, especially the MK.

dinsey at night is beautiful, there is no doubting that, but i just like being there early and knowing the whole day is gonig to be at the world. getting a fresh start to enjoy a park or two is a great feeling. there is something about how that castle looks in the morning sun too

I like both the day and night. However, I'm more of a morning person and when I go back to the parks in the evening, I usually don't stay very long.

I like both! Day you can see better in the parks and Night it is beautiful!

While I like both, being in the parks during the day is my preference. Especially being in the MK on a clear, sunny day......to me that is the best.

@figmentfan423 , you know we are night people. I love MK at night. And there are some great picture opportunities around World Showcase as it empties out after Illuminations. We did make it early enough to MK once this trip to catch the Trolley show by the Emporium. I tried to stop and watch, but my group was looking at me like I was nuts to want to watch it. Limited time magic, or not.

It's both but I prefer day over night simply because it's easier to take pictures during the day. There are some really good night shows like Illuminations and Wishes though. Adding on, I prefer DTD at night over the day. It just seems more vibrant at night!

I like the morning and night...not so much during the afternoon. That being said, I do enjoy the shops in the afternoon...I enjoy the shops at all times.

Walt Disney said Disneyland was especially special at night, and I agree.

For the most part, I enjoy the parks more at night. Unfortunately, nighttime also means the day is almost over, too.

I’ll take both. Mornings are nice because everything is fresh that includes the parks and the visitors. The evening/night is also a great time to be in the parks. Love to watch the change over from early evening to night when the lights start to come on and twinkle. The parks look more magical to me at night. My least favorite time is mid-afternoon. This is when I seem to get in line next to the kid who would have rather been back at the hotel swimming or napping.

I am a morning person, but do not do the parks early. I do not like doing them early, I like them in the afternoon and evening. I do other things like DTD, pools, massages, etc... in the mornings.
Evenings are better also because you get the hear all the parents threaten their misbehaving whining tired offspring. And hear the tired children whine and complain to their parents. Great youtube material.
