Day crowds at Magic Kingdom on a Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party Night

I was curious what the crowd sizes (during the normal park hours) are like when there is MVMCP that evening . I’m Not going to be purchasing tickets for the party and am trying to figure out if it’s worth going to the Magic Kingdom on days with parties that evening. Are the crowds heavier on days with party? Or possibly really low crowds in the morning and then heavier at 4pm when people with MVMCP tickets can start entering? I’d like to start our vacation at MK, but since it’s a party night, I wasn’t sure if I’d be better off going to a different park that day.

Our experience doing MK on party days (Christmas or Halloween) has been that crowds are lower during the morning and early afternoon compared to non party days... Now, that does not mean they are empty, but we have found them definitely less crowded.

Concur. We thought the crowd was light until close to 5:00 PM when the MVMCP folks started to pile in.

I agree with the others. And the crowds are high on non-party days when people are trying to stay late at the MK without having to buy a party ticket.
