Dawn of the planet of the apes

With it on track to do over 70 million this week it is a hit what are your thoughts on the movie. I think it is the best movie of the year so far and Andy serkis Caesar might be one of the best characters I have ever seen but jobs was pretty awesome to.

I saw it on Friday.

I agree, it's one of the best films that's been released so far this year.

Andy Serkis's motion capture performances never seem to disappoint. He was just excellent!

However, did you find the strange parallels between this film and The Lion King, or is that just my crazy Disney mind kicking in?

I could see some of them but not a lot.

It was more like The Lion King, backwards in a way. But I guess not, because eventually Scar was hanging off that cliff
