Hi everyone. We have family members traveling with us at last minute and they are wanting to stay with us at the Poly. I have no idea how DVC rentals work. I'm looking at the calculator and it says that for the week we are staying at it's 1204. We are staying 4 nights and it looks like if we were to book through disney for a regular standard room it will cost around 1932 for the days that we are there. Is it unusual for DVC to be cheaper than booking through disney for a regular hotel room?

Renting points through a DVC rental place is usually cheaper, but the availability may not be there for you, esp since you want the Poly and at the last minute. Also, know that the poly is renting out at 15$ a point while the others rent at 14$ a point. At the last minute you would probably be able to get somewhere like Saratoga Springs or OKW but not the Poly. Best of luck!

Hello everyone, I have another question regarding this...I think my sil just booked through dvc and will she be getting magic bands with that?
