It was a high-concept idea that never panned out. Although, I do think that a magic-themed restaurant could be really cool.
Nah... Fries with grilled Rabbit, Rabbit stew, Rabbit dogs... Rabbit burgers...

And after ordering and paying all the rabbits disapeaer... like Magic! :D

Nah... ' don't like wabbits...

The name of this restaurant was Copperfield Magic Underground. If I remember right, they had actually constructed it. I remember construction going on behind the giant billboards in front of the main entrance, as this was supposed to be a restaurant with entrances from inside and outside the park, like Rainforest Café at Animal Kingdom. As I understand it, it never opened because they couldn't get the magic trick effects to work, like having your table float right in front of you.

Nah...they never started building it. It ran into money issues. It was originally going to be built in NYC and MGM, the NY enterprise ran into money problems, and the whole project crashed.

"David Copperfield at one time was ready to open a "Theme" restaurant called "Magic Underground." There were to be two locations, one in New York City and one in Walt Disney World (built in the shape of a Hidden Mickey). These locations would allow "D.A.V.I.D" (Digital, Audio, Video, Interface, Device) to remotely interact with the guests in the restaurant. It was basically a high tech videophone system. Other things such as the very table you were sitting at might "Float" around the room and even the waiters were to be involved performing magic as they brought your order to you. Eventually the New York project ran into trouble and it as well as the Walt Disney World location was aborted."
