Based on what is going on in Ashoka, that movie would be Heir to the Empire.

If they want to make movies that will create excitement and anticipation, have Thrawn survive the shows and have a New New Republic with Poe as Chancellor fall under attack. Rey's new jedi group needs help and Finn goes recruiting help from other worlds. He ends up on Mandalore to get help from Djin, Bo, and of course a not-so-baby Grogu.

Since Filoni is the golden child under LucasFilms I doubt this would be cancelled. He basically has almost a blank check to do what he wants.

I am cautiously optimistic with the little tidbits here and there... And of course the Ashoka trailer... But it looks like they're giving the fans the sequel they always expected... with some twists.

We're getting Heir to the Empire with the Rebels crew instead of Luke, Han, and Leia. Personally, I'm game.

The most important thing is... How high can Chopper take his kill count.

I'm actually still confident that they can affective bring in Han and Luke IF the de-aging for Indy is good enough. They could have Leia is, like, one scene too but have her pregnant with Ben.
