I am doing this on what I think the park should be. If my idea were done, Epcot could become the most beautiful Park on Earth. This also includes my previous redesigns for some pavilians. I am doing this however because I have seen several of the other Epcot Re-do s on this board and I felt that they weren't sastisfactory to what I want.

If anyone has an arial view of the park, I would appreciate it.

I am starting with the overall ambience of Future World. The whole place will be covered with vegitation but not done to the extremity of Animal Kingdom. The Whole idea is to present a futuristic Eden.

Entrance- Gone is Leave a Legacy (though LaL will still exist somewhere else). New Monuments will be built that glow with livewire and fiber optics. These will also be covered with vines.

Innoventions Plaza- This place will remain open but still feature a lot of vegitiation with hidden cooling fans to cool off guests. The Fountain itself will remain but instead of just a normal Gate around it, there will also be more monuments with all the Leave a Legacy pictures of them here.

Once I get a good arial picture of the park, I will post my pavilian plans.

I like the eden idea, has anyone been to 'The Eden Project' in Cornwall, UK? Basically it's a converted clay pit with 3 (I think) 'biomes', large bubble shaped greenhouses (Anyone who's seen Die Another Day this was used for the baddie's lair during filming) Anyhoo i digress, it had LOADS of flowers, vegetation, trees, water features inside and out and it looked spectacular.

That';s if you're interested.
Keep up the good work!

I really don't approve of the heavy vegetation. My "rehab" features a lot of beautiful flower formations instead...

Well, honestly, to have a good future, a green one is needed.

Anyway, since I still have not arial map to work with:

SpaceShip Earth:
Essentially the same. The outside will be cleaned up and such to look as beautiful as it did when it opened. The Supports, however, will recieve a new colo overlay to fit with the modern view of futuristic colors.

Due to the ride's lack of using its old line area, most will be removed and replaced with an expanded building behind SSE. The building behind (where loading and post show is) will be exanded into parts of the unused line. The Show itself will have all AAs replaced with new ones. The new ones are likely to be of at least as technologically advanced as SiR was.

All the scenes for SSE will be redone to a much higher detail level. The sets will be very beautiful and by the way it will be done, later scenes will be very hard to notice. Also, one of my biggest problems with SSE will be fixed. I want to know why I have heard nobody complain about this. It is probably the best/worst examples of poor show in Epcot.

Anyway, the problem is that if you ever look up on the ride besides when you are at the top, you can see standard ceiling tiles. That will be replaced with scenery. The replacement will be done with either a roof themed to the period, a fake sky, or smoke.

The part with the videoscreens and on (final half) will be completly redone. Before entering the globe, there will be a scene of the Internet as well as a scene for cel-phones. Both of these technologies changed the way people live in the past decade and are more important that half the stuff already exhibited on the ride.

The giant dome at the top will remain similar. I enjoy the serenity of space and "obstacles" I believe could ruin the moment. The Current event TVs on the way down will stay. The video with the kids making the dragonfly turn into a spaceship and such will be replaced with a segment about how different kinds of light (such as radio) can be made 4 times as fast as their normal speed enabling communication faster than the speed of "light". The scenes will then shift to how comunicating will be like showing scenes of what the future may hold. It will go to a redone view of the futuristic city but the city as well as the special effects will be redesigned.

Before I go to post show, I also should note other changes to the ride:
-Omnimover- Completly replaced and redone to feature a excellent smoothness that most of the other omnimovers exhibit. The cars will be redone to be more modern looking. The seats will be molded now to express extreme comfort with armrests and headrests. (causing a surge of sleepers on the ride  ) The Audio will also be completly redone.

-Audio- The entire sound system will be replaced. The scene audio will feature crystal clear sound and often will have a surround-sound set-up in that room. The On-board audio will be feature bi-nural sound (just used for quality). The new narrator I would really like to see would be James Earl Jones. For the music, a new composition would be made. John Williams would be great ,but any good composer could do. The music has to be very beautiful and touch what is currently on the ride. (very hard to top).

Post Show:
Theme to a high-tech communication center. It will be made to be able to change easily. Both floors are also now one giant room.

Look at the General Park Discussion... I posted a satelite picture of Epcot not too long ago, search for that...

And BTW, don't say you want to make something "beautiful". That's not describing the attraction, of course you want it to be beautiful, everybody does. But HOW will you make it beautiful...

I used the original context as in what the geosphere looked like when it opened. As in no wand and such. I just wanted to avoid using that term.

Spaceship Earth though would be wholy treated as an art form in every aspect.

The pictures in that topic will not work because I can't save it outside the quicktime format and 1 is too big and the other one does not show all of Future World.

Well, the one that's too big (the one I used), you can always cut down... get some photo-editing tools...

Well, I don't have the map done but I will go on. With a new Pavilian.

If the Innoventions/Communicore builders were kept in the rehab, they would have to be partly demolished to make room. Also, the fountain may have to be moved a little. (already the stage is being demolished).

THe Innoventions buildings though are going to be demolished in this plan, but I have yet to reveal what will replace them, that will be in another update.

I have yet to use the map so I don't know yet.

Anyway, I did this Pavilian earlier but I made many changes.

----------------------------------
Project Century 3: Includes 2 shows, 1 fast food restaurant, and 1 sit-down restaurant. There will be 4 floors for each part. The Pavilian itself will be elevated about 8 feet off the ground.

Attractions:
Carousal of Progress:
-Located on second floor
-Newly expanded to feature 6 acts as well as a loading and unloading room making it an 8 scene show.
-Each of the original acts (actually only 1900-1940) will be represented with the original sets. The AAs will be updated but the original voices will be used.
-Acts 1960, 1980, and 2000 will be redone completly to fit historical context and accuracy.
-Acts will be 1900, 1920, 1940, 1960, 1980, and 2000 from this.
-The Actual theatre room will be pretty short in height, that is so that there is less of a climb to the higher floors. A couple of rows in the back may be removed too due to keep both lines long and make room.
-The loading room will feature the effects from the original show waiting to board.

Guests enter the attraction from an inclined plane or elevator that goes to the CoP floor. There they view the current preshow at the MK while waiting to board. After the show, guests will exit to another incline plane that leads to the next floor. Here, they can enter the new line to see the next show, use the restroom, or return back down.

New Attraction: Future Living:
-Uses Dual Theatres to allow faster loading.
-Uses a giant 3-D screen to present the show. There is however, no glasses for guests to use.
-Limited 4-D effects, this attraction is mainly used to showcase what life could be like in the future, not get the audience by surprise by using 4d gags.
-The attraction shows what life will be like in the near and far future. It will go through a hause of he future like exhibit before going to very exotic homes. One scene will be flying up the side of a Space Elevator.

After exiting this attraction, guests travel down another inlcined plane or head down via the elevator.

Restaurants:
Century Plaza Food Court-
Located on bottom floor, here guests can get a quick bite to eat.
Sky Lounge-
A sitdown restaurant on the top of the pavilian. Guests will get a 270 degree view of Future World. (other 90 degrees is kitchen). To get up here, guests board an elevator through the center of the pavilian. The elevator actually goes through the CoP.

I will have more when I get the map done.
