I don't believe I have ever encountered more people with absolutely no understanding of promotion and marketing in my life. Basic rule of marketing... sell, sell and sell some more. Play up the smallest of things and make people want to be part of it. In that department one would be hard pressed to find any organization that does that better then Disney. It may not always live up to our individual expectations, but, without the hype we wouldn't even be aware of it.
