Has anyone tried the new DAK Hidden Mickeys app?

http://www.timestream-software.com/disneyipodnotescasts/newhiddenmickeys.html

If so, care to offer a review?

Also, what are some other good WDW apps? I've seen the uPinPoint guides, but I think those aren't really for hardcore fans. I've also seen the other Notescast stuff, but it doesn't look that appealing. As far as I know, there isn't anything else. It doesn't matter whether the app is DRM or 3rd party, just let me know if there are any other good ones!

FYI on the "DAK Hidden Mickeys Tour" Notescast for iPod & iPhone

FYI, the DAK Hidden Mickeys Tour Notescast mentioned above for the iPod Classic and nano is also about to come out for the iPhone and iPod touch.

The current Walt Disney World Notescast for the iPod Classic and nano (A 200 pg. Guide to WDW) is also about to come out for the iPhone and iPod touch.

In addition to the link provided in the post above, you can go to www.Notescasts.com or you can ask me questions, as well.

Full Disclosure: I work for TimeStream Software

What else is up your sleeves? Hidden Mickeys guides for the rest of the parks?

Definitely! Using your iPod in hand as a personal tour guide makes for a fun new way to discover/tour the Hidden Mickeys of the parks. The DAK Hidden Mickeys title for the iPod Classic and nano links to photo clues, and the upcoming DAK Hidden Mickeys for the iPhone/iPod touch (I've used the beta versions, and they're fun) allows you to just tap on the photo clue, which is embedded in the copy.

If you'd like a rundown on the three WDW Notescasts we have for the iPod Classic & nano and iPhone/iPod touch, as well as the inside scoop on what's coming, let me know, and I'll post it.

Also, we're toying with the idea of asking guests to send us their photos of Hidden Mickeys throughout the parks. We'd love to add more photos, as it makes for better Notescasts titles. Same with our WDW Secrets Notescasts.

FYI, if anyone visits the www.Notescasts.com web site today, you may get an "Under Construction" image. It's getting an all new launch as of this morning, and it should be available in one to two hours.

I downloaded the Notescast WDW secrets app from the Iphone app-store and it seems pretty cool. It could definitely use some livening up with some pictures and stuff but the info is all really cool and it actually has alot of stuff I wasnt aware of like at JII they have hidden props from old disney movies in the ride. The have a letterman jacket with a "M" on it that is a replica of the ones worn in Medfield College in "The Absent Minded Professor" and there are tennis shoes on the floor from "The Computer Wore Tennis Shoes." It will definitely help the lines go by faster :D

You got it. Here's a quick rundown...

As you may be aware, WDW Secrets for the iPhone was just recently upgraded, now with over 180 Secrets and over 200 Fun Facts. A new engine is in the works, which will allow us to add some photos. (If we asked forum members to send us images for use in the title, would they be interested?) What I love about this Notescast is that while you can find some of these secrets online, they're not arranged in a tour format, and I'm guessing guests probably don't want to be lugging their laptops through the parks. With this title, they're all arranged in chonological order as a tour, and they're all now in the palm of your hand on an iPhone or iPod touch. Same with the iPod Classic and iPod nano titles, too, I suppose.

The "Walt Disney World Secrets" Notescast for the iPod Classic and iPod nano is available now on www.Notescasts.com. It's just been upgraded with the same over 180 secrets and over 200 fun facts.

The Walt Disney World Notescast (200+ page guide to all of WDW, with photos) and the DAK Hidden Mickeys Tour Notescast (with photo clues) for the iPod Classic and iPod nano are available now on www.Notescasts.com.

The Walt Disney World Notescast and DAK Hidden Mickeys Notescast will soon be ported over to the iPhone and iPod touch. Check Notescasts.com or the App Store in a few weeks. Depends upon Apple's review time.

I can't say too much, but another Disney Notescast guide for the iPod Classic and iPod nano, as well as iPhone and iPod touch is in the works. (Think 1955.)
