Here is a brainstorm for a revamp of Disney's Animal Kingdom. The only lands that will stay the same are Africa, The Oasis, and Discovery Island, and current lands will have new attractions and/or be re-themed.
In the former site of Camp Minnie-Mickey would be Beastly Kingdom which would be home to three new attractions. The first new attraction is Dragon Tower which is a re-themed clone of Tokyo DisneySea's Journey To the Center of The Earth. The story of this ride will be that a dragon used to live in a castle hidden in a volcano and you were sent to take his money. The differences would be that the interior would be themed to the interior of a castle with riches and gold, at the end you will encounter a dragon rather than a larva monsters, and finally the outdoor thrill portion will be longer. The next attraction is Fantasia Gardens, a pleasant flume through the whimsical world of Fantasia. The final attraction would be a mythical creature zoo where you can walk around and see mythical animals such as the Loch Ness monster, Unicorns, and more!
Right next to Africa will be a brand new land based off of one of the unrepresented films in the park, The Lion King. This land called The Pride Lands will be replacing Rafiki's Planet Watch, and will be home to 3 new attractions. The park's first dark ride, The Legend of The Lion King (working title), will tell the story of how Simba became king, and will be housed inside Pride Rock. The second attraction will be a tour of Timon and Pumbaa's lush jungle paradise. Rather than a traditional Animal Kingdom animal ride, this will not feature real animals because this is more like the Jungle Cruise which is comedy based. Timon and Pumbaa will be the host of your hysterical safari. The final attraction would be an elephant graveyard coaster that will swoop and swerve from hungry hyenas.
The Asia area of the park will get two brand new attractions, and a big refurbishment of a current attraction. The two new attractions will be an omni-mover dark ride called The Jungle Book Bare Necessities where you can enter the toe-tapping songs of Walt's last song, and a brand new chinese Panda exhibit. The brand new Jungle Book attraction will be replacing Maharajah Jungle Trek, and the Panda exhibit will be replacing Flights of Wonder. Kali River Rapids will be getting a refurbishment to make the ride longer because many think that the ride is too short.
Most of DinoLand USA will be closing for the a massive re-do of the land. The expansion will cover where Chester and Hester and the Finding Nemo stage show are now. There will be two new attractions in which you'll encounter creatures that haven't been seen in thousands of years. Go to the Dino-Institue headquarters to meet Lucky The Dinosaur, a friendly dinosaur who loves humans! As well as a brand new free-fall ride (57 feet) through the dinosaur dig site!
