Here is a brainstorm for a revamp of Disney's Animal Kingdom. The only lands that will stay the same are Africa, The Oasis, and Discovery Island, and current lands will have new attractions and/or be re-themed.
In the former site of Camp Minnie-Mickey would be Beastly Kingdom which would be home to three new attractions. The first new attraction is Dragon Tower which is a re-themed clone of Tokyo DisneySea's Journey To the Center of The Earth. The story of this ride will be that a dragon used to live in a castle hidden in a volcano and you were sent to take his money. The differences would be that the interior would be themed to the interior of a castle with riches and gold, at the end you will encounter a dragon rather than a larva monsters, and finally the outdoor thrill portion will be longer. The next attraction is Fantasia Gardens, a pleasant flume through the whimsical world of Fantasia. The final attraction would be a mythical creature zoo where you can walk around and see mythical animals such as the Loch Ness monster, Unicorns, and more!
Right next to Africa will be a brand new land based off of one of the unrepresented films in the park, The Lion King. This land called The Pride Lands will be replacing Rafiki's Planet Watch, and will be home to 3 new attractions. The park's first dark ride, The Legend of The Lion King (working title), will tell the story of how Simba became king, and will be housed inside Pride Rock. The second attraction will be a tour of Timon and Pumbaa's lush jungle paradise. Rather than a traditional Animal Kingdom animal ride, this will not feature real animals because this is more like the Jungle Cruise which is comedy based. Timon and Pumbaa will be the host of your hysterical safari. The final attraction would be an elephant graveyard coaster that will swoop and swerve from hungry hyenas.

The Asia area of the park will get two brand new attractions, and a big refurbishment of a current attraction. The two new attractions will be an omni-mover dark ride called The Jungle Book Bare Necessities where you can enter the toe-tapping songs of Walt's last song, and a brand new chinese Panda exhibit. The brand new Jungle Book attraction will be replacing Maharajah Jungle Trek, and the Panda exhibit will be replacing Flights of Wonder. Kali River Rapids will be getting a refurbishment to make the ride longer because many think that the ride is too short.
Most of DinoLand USA will be closing for the a massive re-do of the land. The expansion will cover where Chester and Hester and the Finding Nemo stage show are now. There will be two new attractions in which you'll encounter creatures that haven't been seen in thousands of years. Go to the Dino-Institue headquarters to meet Lucky The Dinosaur, a friendly dinosaur who loves humans! As well as a brand new free-fall ride (57 feet) through the dinosaur dig site!

Thoughts?

We already have a freefall ride, what would set this apart from Tower of terror?

Why get rid of an immensely popular show (Finding Nemo)?

Would Tigers be relocated? What about other Asian animals?

So what if we have a free fall ride already? We didn't stop at 5 dumbo spinners in the resort. This one isn't going to be such a grand ride anyways, it's going to be a small c-ticket.

I knew you'd be here to complain/bash an idea. Well I think that two new attractions are better than a show.

What's the problem with Pandas? I think they're the most popular Asian Animal we can get.

Not bad, I'd love your beastly kingdom idea and the re-do of Rafiki's, and I would add the Excevator to Dinoland.

I was going to put the Excavator but then it would be two big roller coaster next to each other (Everest) so I just turned that into a c-ticket drop ride.

I like most of this but I wouldn't alter the Dinosaur ride or the atmosphere around it. Maybe give it a new film. The Lucky m&g could be in another area of the park though.

I like your take on journey, it would go well and beastly kingdom as a whole. I also like the lion king land, however I would like to see Australia or South America. Leave Dino and Asia alone but I do think they need a panda exhibit!

So you're saying that a dinosaur meet and greet... shouldn't be in a dinosaur land... Is that correct?

I'm not complaining or bashing anything. You asked for thoughts and those were mine. If you believe in your ideas you should be able to defend them, that's all.

Ok I recently Had A post on Ideas for dinoland so my feelings stay in the same feeling as dinosaur gives off for the whole land and excavator to join the attractions.

Beastly Kingdom seems much like the original concept...we should change it up....just a little more

The rest sounds all right to me...Oh also keep nemo...I like it

No, definitely not. I guess to be more clear I should I have said "another part of that land" instead of park so it didn't give the wrong idea. I would have the Lucky m&g in Dino-Land but in a different area than the Dinosaur attraction.

No it's fine to criticize my idea, I respect that.. It's just that every post I've seen you post was bashing or complaining.

Again, I'm not complaining or bashing anything. You asked for thoughts so I asked you three questions and you only kind of answered one of them.

I didn't say that we shouldn't have two freefall rides, I asked what would set it apart from tower of terror.

I didn't say that all your ideas suck, I asked why you would get rid of a popular show like Finding Nemo the Musical. (This being the one you sort of answered. Although instead of saying something like "it's prime real estate, and to complete my vision of Dinoland these two new attractions were necessary" or perhaps something like "The added capacity of these attractions are more than double that of the sit-down theater." Nope. You chose to attack me instead)

My final question was if the Tigers would be relocated. I didnt say Pandas suck, I think it's a fine idea to put in pandas. But there are some great animals back there. The Komodo dragon, the bats, the blackbuck and banteng, and of course the tigers. I was asking what thier fate would be. Would they be taken off show, sent to other zoos, or perhaps relocated?

Asking for thoughts and then getting mad when someone asks you clarifying questions....hmmm

Sorry I got mad, I was in a bad mood and no offense but you have a tendency to be negative sometimes. I didn't intend on attacking you it's just I wanted to say that you are negative sometimes. And I did answer what would make the free-fall rides different, that the DAK one is an outdoor d/c-ticket

And it's perfectly fine to criticize my idea. I was just more mad because there was another thread that i saw you comment on something that was kind of rude
