So, I've seen a few D23 threads floating around, but most were focused on predicting upcoming park announcements. I'll be going to D23 for the first time this year (moving to Anaheim for a CP, so I'll finally be in the area) and am curious to hear about peoples' experiences with things like lines, panels, buying limited edition merchandise, etc. Basically, how do you prioritize your time there? I'm also just interested to see who here will be attending the expo this year, and what your plans are!
The schedule for the major panels has been released, and it looks like the Animation and Live-Action panels are being combined into one big panel on Saturday morning. I'm assuming you would need to stay pretty much overnight to have any chance of getting in. The Parks & Resorts panel on Sunday will likely be the only "must-do" for me. Do any of you anticipate waiting for these panels or would you rather be out on the Show Floor? Any tips/tricks for someone new to the expo?
