Anyone here planning on going? The full schedule has not been released yet, but the lineup so far looks very good! I've really enjoyed the previous expos in 2009 and 2011, so i'm really looking forward to going again this year.

My favorite part of the expo has always been the Imagineering presentations and Parks and Resorts Pavilion.

I'm most excited about the 60-year celebration of WDI this year. My favorite from the 2011 Expo was the "Voices of the Disney Parks" presentation, and it will be returning this year. There will be twelve panel presentations (Buena Vista St! Mystic Manor! Tony Baxter!) in addition to an "open house" pavilion:

Within the “open house” pavilion, D23 Expo guests will get an up-close look at an eclectic array of Imagineering’s creative minds—ride engineers, model builders, pre-visualization artists, special effects designers, inventors, and show animators—as they share the skills and talents behind Imagineering’s creative process. In addition, guests will have the chance to glimpse at the “workspaces” of several project teams from around Disney’s global portfolio of parks and resorts, perhaps spotting a few clues into coming attractions along the way.

For the first time at the D23 Expo, Walt Disney Imagineering will be showcasing some of its most historical and revered concept art from its Art Library, including Herb Ryman’s original drawing of Disneyland.

Also announced for this year's expo, the "Broadway and Beyond" concert featuring "a line-up of Broadway stars including Heidi Blickenstaff (The Little Mermaid), Ashley Brown (Mary Poppins and Beauty and the Beast), Merle Dandridge (Tarzan and Aida), Josh Strickland (Tarzan) and Alton Fitzgerald White (The Lion King), all of whom will sing beloved songs from the award-winning musicals they starred in along with classic tunes from the Disney on Broadway catalogue."

The concert will be held in Stage 23 on August 9th, 6:30PM.

I won't take credit for this, but I have to say.. when I took the online survey after the 2011 Expo, I told them I wanted to see something from Disney Theatrical. The expo covered everything Disney but nothing from their Broadway shows. Needless to say I was very excited when they announced this year's concert, and i'd like to think it happened because of my survey feedback ;) I can't wait!

I will be there! I will head over to Anaheim for a few hours one morning, probably Saturday. I always go to the Expo, but just for one day for a few hours of wandering the exhibit hall floors and a browse through the Archives display. I can pass on all the presentations and arena events; I'll just learn about that stuff online.

My favorite is the Imagineering Pavilion. Last years "Carousel of Projects" was just brilliant.

I do the exact same thing. I go for one day, spend some time and then leave. I loved Carousel of Projects as well.

Bravo! Bravissimo! What a splendid concert you have organized! The extent of my Disney survey career has been to try and get better food at the American Adventure... no luck yet.
