I know back in 2003 they had closed Cypress Gardens, but I heard that it was opening or had opened back up...I can't find much online, does anyone know the answer to this?

We used to go every summer and were very disappointed when it closed. It was always kind of a throwback to what Florida used to be (I'd have to add Silver Springs and Weekie-Wachee to that list too). Two years ago we heard it had reopened with new rides, so we checked it out, and we really liked it! There are several more rides there now (not exactly thrill rides, but fun), yet they still have the gardens and the water skiers. It's a great way to spend a day!
Thanks for the link to their web site! I'm so happy to hear that it has reponded. I went, for the first time, the weekend that they closed. It was beautiful and, from what I hear, it was run down. I can't wait to go back! I hope the gardens are still amazing and it's not all about the rides now....
