Custom Watches available?

Hi,

I'm from SoCal and go to Disneyland regularly. Since I am visiting WDW in May, I would like to know -- is there anywhere in the parks where artists create customized art watches with the Disney characters on the watch dial?

In case no one knows about what I am talking about --

At the watch store on Disneyland Main Street, you can select approved designs of various Disney characters. We're not just talking Mickey and pals but everything you can think of -- including some of the tv characters. The artist actually does the drawing on a sketch pad. You can have some customization done -- like your name or the date added to it.


I have a Sorcerer's Apprentice and a Mulan watch. I also bought a limited series edition (with lithograph) of Mickey from the " looking glass" short -- Mickey with a fan of cards like a peacock's tail behind him.


Again, do they do this to WDW? I am thinking of buying another one from Disneyland but maybe I would have one done at WDW
in memory of the trip. If they do, what are the prices?

Also, is there something similar that WDW sells that I might want to look at ?

Yes they do this in WDW. I know you can have it done at the Art of Disney store in Downtown Disney, and I think they have it that in the jewelery store on Main Street. I don't remember how much it is, hopefully someone else here will know. Good luck!

they're at Art of Disney at Downtown Disney and Uptown Jewlers on Main Street.

however.....

if you can find a design you like, then that's all well and good. but if you can't, then they will *not* do a custom watch for you. at WDW it's against the rules.

at DL, you can actually commission custom art - I had to, if I wanted to get Djali on my watch. it took a real long time to get approved, but it was worth it.

mine is in a single blue color and ran me $250. it's the same price at WDW.

Wow, I didnt know this! I actually collect Disney watches ad clocks, currently i have 18 lmited edition and about 6others

I will defintely be checking this out, thanks!
