I got a letter by a disney Imagineer to day about how to become an imagineer.The Imagineer who sent me the letter was David J. Fisher ( Creative Develoment).After the letter he sent me a story he wrote for Disney Magazine a few years ago called "so you want to be a Imagineer".

He also gave me a sheet with the history of Imagineering and it had aection with a list of all new attractions for the theme parks.


Hong Kong Disneyland(2006)
Stitch's Great escape(2004 at MK)
Expidition Everest(2006 at Ak)
Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa(2004 at wdw)
Tower of Terror(2004 at DCA)

I doubt they would put the Stitch thing in writing, mostly because they haven't announced it yet.

If this is a real document, I am suprised that there is no mention of Soarin' at Epcot.

I also recieved the same thing in the mail from David Fisher. I posted the part about the Stitch Alien Encounter a few weeks ago but I guess nobody saw it. Anyway, the paper says that it is called "Stitch Escape!" (debuting 2004 at the Magic Kingdom).

Proof has been posted. It's "Stitch Escape!" alright!

(Although ExtraTERRORestrial Alien Encounter is a better name for an attraction... :animwink: )

Just do a google search for Disney Imagineers and I am pretty sure I sent a letter to Glendale, California. It took at least 5 or 6 months to get a response.

maybe the letter was sent before they finalized the Soarin' project? It could explain why its not on the letter. Just my two cents.

Thanks for posting the letter it's the same as the one i have.

I guess i'm not the only one that got the letter :lol:

After seeing the letter there is a date at the bottom. It is 7/16/03.
This could be like I said before the reason Soarin isn't on there. It may not have been approved or finished at the time.
