Crystal Palace thoughts...

I am strongly considering adding this to our list of ADR's. I have never been but always look longingly at this beautiful building as we walk by on our MK days. I would probably want to do breakfast since I would want the pre-park reservation. Soooooo want to be in MK before the masses. I have always been in love with Tigger so that is a bonus. My daughter isn't a huge fan of Pooh and friends so not a winner for her. Tell me your thoughts on atmosphere and experiences and of course the food.

I think walking down an empty Main Street is something every Disney fan should experience at least once. My family and I have never been huge Pooh fans but the fun atmosphere and beautiful interior is worth seeing. The food is pretty good, with the exception of Pooh's Puffed French Toast. That's stuff of legends!

Walking into an empty main st for an early breakfast was very neat, and the stuffed French toast was yummy! But other than that there is nothing that is making us want to return for breakfast..

The service was spotty and we only met one character during our entire meal, none of the rest were even close to our table (we were there for over an hour )..

We have had much better food and character interaction at tusker house.

We are planning an ADR to Tusker House too. We did Chef Mickeys last visit and it was okay but don't feel the need to go back. So that along with Akershus and CP are our planned breakfast buffets.

Basically the best thing ever. With the strawberry topping that goes with it; :hungry:

CP is my favorite character breakfast! We always do an 8am ADR and it is perfect. We are always finished right before the park opens and thats without rushing through anything. The food is so good and the characters are great. Just make sure yiu don't go on an EMH morning! I love the atmosphere there also.. Its so light and pretty.

Will definitely have to plan for a non EMH day for this one. We love going to EMH at MK so will have to plan two days for sure this trip. I am determined to get at least 6 park days this trip.

I miss the crystal place of my childhood. It was indoor/outdoor and birds would fly in. More like a quick service restaurant and never any lines. You could get a Danish and a glass of oj and escape the crowds. It was quiet...or maybe just in the one vivid memory I have as about 8 years old.

We took the kids a few years back to the new crystal palace. It is pretty cool too. The characters came around twice while we were there. The food was decent. It was fun to have a reservation before the park was even open. In most measurable ways, an improvement over the crystal palace of my youth (with a more than commensurate increase in price). But as is the case with many people here, we want disney to expand and improve but we also want them to keep things the as they were in our childhood.

Big fan of Crystal Palace, especially for pre-park ADR times. Pooh has always been one of my favorites so we go there frequently, and as others have said - there is nothing like being able to stroll down Main Street when it is practically deserted. Magical.
