After reading some great trip reports I've noticed I haven't read any with young children. I will be traveling with my 2 1/2 year old daughter and wondering if any one can give me some insight how it went and some favorites your little ones liked. We are doing the 3 night bahamas cruise on the Dream. THANK you!!

We cruised with my 2 yr old and 4 yr old in October. We did a 5 night cruise on the Wonder.
We payed for my 2 yr olf to go to the nursery one afternoon so we can do a brunch at Palo's. Since he is not potty trained, he could not go to the big club. They do have open house times, and we were able to take Bayne to the club. He LOVED the slide. Also, we did second dining. This worked for our family, because we would take him back to the cabin for a nap. We only did one show and surprisingly he sat through it. We planned out which characters and he did great waiting. At Castaway Cay, we did ocean , characters, lunch, played games, more swimming, and then headed back to the ship for nap. He did not want to do the sail away party, and we didnt get to see fireworks either.

Our first cruise was with our 2 year old son. We didn't put him in a nursery or anything like that. We did a 3 night Bahamian on the dream. My son loved the "kiddie" pool area. Enjoyed the daily shows, with it being in Oct, there was daily Halloween activities as well. He really enjoyed castaway cay too. Our room was an oceanview, so he seemed to always be sitting in the porthole window as well
