Hey, I have my interview next week with disney for the WDWCP. The following day i have an audition for the cruiseline for next summer. I am auditioning to be a character- does anybody know what this audition will entail? Anybody have any tips? Iwould like to be a face characrer- but its nearly impossible... I think forthe cruiseline I would even accept a position as a masked character. Anybody haveany thoughts?
Thanks!

I don't know what DCL auditions entail, but I know that the minimum age is 21, and it is a LOT harder to get into than any other Disney character department (WDW, DLR, Tokyo, and Paris are cake in comparison)

The information I read at disneycareers.com said to audition you need to be 18 - which I am. I will most likely be in the WDWCP from Jan-May. So I think I will be able to audition down there somewhere if I don't make it next week.

for WDW it's actually 16 (except for the CP which is 18), but for DCL it's 21... the Disneycareers site is extremely outdated

I have to second what Rob said. It is 21. I wanted to apply to work for the cruiseline when I was in FL but I was only 20 at the time and couldn't do it. The Disneycareers site IS outdated. If you look at the Disney College portion many of the sections have not been updated for at least 2 years.
